About This Retreat
Meet this little Maldivian surf playground.
Out front sit two famous reef breaks that keep surfers coming back again and again. One is a beautifully groomed right-hander that peels down the reef with long, clean walls—perfect for carving turns and glide-for-days rides. Just down the reef, its relaxed sibling rolls the other way: a mellow left-hander that’s playful, forgiving, and ridiculously fun.
We’re there in February, which means off-season energy and almost nobody in the water.
The water? Warm enough to forget wetsuits exist. The colour? So turquoise it almost looks fake. The vibe? Equal parts surf mission and island escape.
Mornings are for surfing. Glass conditions, perfect lines, and golden early light. Afternoons are for snorkelling. Coral gardens, tropical fish, and water so clear it feels like flying above the reef.
Life here follows a strict schedule: Surf. Eat. Snorkel. Nap. Repeat.
When the swell arrives and the wind stays light, it’s the kind of place where one session quietly turns into three… and leaving the water becomes the hardest decision of the day.
